What you will do

• Design, build, and operate scalable, resilient microservices and data processing systems in Golang.
• Model complex tax reporting workflows as durable, stateful processes using Temporal.
• Implement and optimize data pipelines consuming financial events from Redpanda.
• Collaborate with tax analysts, legal experts, and product managers to translate regulatory requirements into software.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship on distributed system design, API definition, and testing strategies.
• Own full service lifecycle including CI/CD deployment, monitoring, and incident response.

Requirements

• Must have 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Deep expertise in Golang and concurrency models.
• Experience designing and operating distributed microservices and APIs (gRPC, REST).
• Strong analytical and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Location: Remote work within North and South America, MST Time Zone alignment required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Temporal or similar durable execution systems.
• Knowledge of Redpanda or Kafka streaming platforms.
• Familiarity with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with observability tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
• Background in FinTech, RegTech, or regulated financial industries.
