Location: Remote within the United States or Canada only

Salary: $258,000–$350,000 USD annually (US roles); CA$242,000–CA$328,000 (Canada roles)

What you will do

• Design and lead a greenfield security research program identifying emerging threats and innovative defenses.
• Conduct original vulnerability research and publish findings responsibly.
• Engage in standards groups and advance thought leadership in cryptography, identity security, and AI security.
• Build community partnerships and present research at major security conferences.
• Provide technical storytelling through high-quality publications and external presence.
• Collaborate cross-functionally and mentor a high-performing security team.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States or Canada with remote work from these countries only.
• 7+ years in security with 5+ years leading teams or programs.
• Proven expertise in security research, red teaming, application security, cryptography, identity, and access governance.
• Experience with AI security including prompt injection and AI-based attacks.
• Strong communication skills and community visibility through publications and presentations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
