Senior Application Security Developer (Cybersecurity): Developing and implementing security tools and solutions to proactively discover and remediate vulnerabilities in applications with an accent on application security, CI/CD environments, and cloud security. Focus on building innovative security tooling, educating teams, and improving security culture using AI.

Location: Must be based in Canada (excluding Quebec) with hybrid work requiring minimum two days per week in office in Burnaby, Calgary, or Toronto

Salary: CAD 146,200–197,800

What you will do

• Develop and implement tools to educate, reduce toil, and prevent security flaws
• Provide guidance and support for vulnerability remediation in core codebases
• Advise on security best practices and contribute to security awareness
• Work with continuous integration environments with frequent deployments
• Identify and improve automated application scanning and static analysis tools
• Elevate security culture and contribute to company values

Requirements

• Must be located in Canada (excluding Quebec)
• Hybrid work with minimum two days per week in office at Burnaby, Calgary, or Toronto hubs
• 5+ years experience in Ruby, Python, JavaScript, or equivalent modern languages
• Experience in secure software development, application security, and security tools in CI/CD
• Knowledge in cloud security, threat modelling, and architecture review
• Interest in AI to improve security craft
