TL;DR

Senior Brand Writer (Content Creation): Develop and refine hirify.global's brand voice across homepage, campaigns, and product naming with an accent on high-impact brand storytelling and editorial excellence. Focus on writing display copy, collaborating cross-functionally, and leading product naming strategy to ensure clarity and consistency.

Location: Remote within select Canadian provinces: Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario, and Saskatchewan only

Salary: CAD 148,800–201,200 per year

What you will do

  • Write display copy for key brand surfaces including homepage and landing pages.
  • Develop editorial assets across multiple formats such as video, audio scripts, and longform stories.
  • Contribute to brand storytelling and campaign development across channels.
  • Lead and evolve hirify.global’s brand voice and product naming strategy.
  • Edit and elevate copy from internal teams and freelancers to ensure clarity and consistency.
  • Collaborate closely with Brand Marketing, Communications, PMM, Engineering, and Legal teams.

Requirements

  • Must have 10+ years of brand and editorial copywriting experience in tech, agencies, or media
  • 2+ years editorial experience with strong storytelling judgment
  • Portfolio demonstrating conceptual range and precise craft including homepage and longform copy
  • Experience leading complex writing initiatives and collaborating with senior leaders
  • Ability to translate complex topics into clear, accessible language
  • Familiarity with brand voice shaping and product naming processes

Nice to have

  • Magazine journalism experience
  • Prior ownership of brand voice governance
  • Experience with naming frameworks and legal/linguistic constraints
  • Experience working in centralized creative or brand organizations
  • Comfort collaborating across brand, marketing, comms, design, product, and legal teams
