What you will do

• Develop and maintain high-performance backend services using Java 21.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, product managers, and designers.
• Implement and optimize complex algorithms for real-time travel product combinations.
• Deliver well-tested, high-quality code within a fully agile and Kanban-driven workflow.
• Integrate AI-powered tools into daily development processes to streamline productivity and debugging.
• Participate in product ideation and definition processes to influence platform evolution.

Requirements

• Must be located in or willing to work from Barcelona on a hybrid basis.
• Strong proficiency in Java, OOP, concurrency, and data structures.
• Experience with the full software development cycle including Cloud deployment and testing.
• English proficiency: B2 level or higher required.
• Analytical mindset with experience in API design and database architecture.
• Commitment to software quality and technical excellence.

Nice to have

• Practical experience with AI tools such as GitHub Copilot or ChatGPT.
