What you will do
- Design and evolve formal ontologies and semantic models (RDF, OWL) to capture complex domain knowledge.
- Build and optimize knowledge graph architecture using technologies like Neo4j, JanusGraph, or Amazon Neptune.
- Develop scalable ETL pipelines to ingest and map diverse data sources into the graph structure.
- Write high-performance graph queries (Cypher, SPARQL) and implement advanced analytics algorithms.
- Collaborate with Data Scientists and Product Managers to power search, recommendations, and AI/ML applications.
- Monitor and tune graph database performance for scalability and real-time query speed.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience implementing large-scale Knowledge Graphs in production.
- Deep expertise in ontology engineering and semantic standards (RDF, RDFS, OWL, SPARQL).
- Proficiency with at least one major graph database (e.g., Neo4j, TigerGraph, AWS Neptune).
- Practical experience integrating LLMs with Knowledge Graphs (e.g., RAG, KG-powered AI agents).
- Strong programming skills in Python.
- Experience with NLP techniques for NER and relation extraction.
Nice to have
- Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, AI, or a related technical field.
- Research publications in top-tier conferences or open-source contributions.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform and Vertex AI.
- Familiarity with Graph Machine Learning (GNNs).
