Senior AI Engineer (Knowledge Graphs)

What you will do

• Design and evolve formal ontologies and semantic models using RDF, RDFS, OWL, and related standards.
• Build and optimize knowledge graph architectures with technologies such as Neo4j, TigerGraph, AWS Neptune, or JanusGraph.
• Develop scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to integrate, transform, and map diverse data sources.
• Write high-performance Cypher and SPARQL queries and implement graph analytics such as shortest-path and community-detection algorithms.
• Integrate knowledge graphs with LLMs through RAG and knowledge-graph-powered AI agents.
• Collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, product managers, and domain experts while tuning graph and pipeline performance.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience designing and implementing large-scale production knowledge graphs.
• Deep expertise in ontology engineering, semantic modeling, RDF, RDFS, OWL, and SPARQL.
• Proficiency with at least one major graph database.
• Practical experience integrating LLMs with knowledge graphs and applying NLP techniques such as named-entity recognition and relation extraction.
• Strong Python and data-engineering skills, excellent problem-solving ability, and effective communication of complex AI concepts.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Nice to have

• Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field.
• Research publications or open-source contributions.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform and Vertex AI.
• Familiarity with graph machine learning and graph neural networks.
