What you will do

• Design and develop backend data applications using AWS, Java, Spring, Apache Camel, Kafka, and SQL
• Enhance and extend Data Mesh framework to onboard new internal and external data sources
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and resolve technical challenges
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following enterprise standards
• Design and maintain efficient and secure database schemas and queries
• Implement real-time and event-driven data processing using Kafka and AWS messaging services

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS and Java-based backend development
• Experience with Spring Framework, Apache Camel, Spring Batch, Kafka, and SQL
• Experience with containerization (Docker, OpenShift, AWS ECS/Fargate) and DevOps tools
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Familiarity with data catalog, lineage, and virtualization tools

Nice to have

• Salesforce integration experience
• Python development experience
• Experience with advanced AWS services like Redshift, SageMaker, or Bedrock
• Experience with reporting and monitoring tools (Power BI, ELK, Grafana)
