What you will do

• Define and deliver data platform offerings across AWS to empower engineering and data science stakeholders.
• Build self-serve tools and services for online storage platforms to improve operational efficiency.
• Work cross-functionally to identify and resolve scalability gaps in data-intensive systems.
• Own key areas of the data platform charter and execute on strategic technical initiatives.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to the technical growth and leadership standards of the team.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience working on data-intensive applications and distributed systems.
• Expertise in at least one online data storage system (relational, key-value, document, or columnar) in high-scale environments.
• Strong background in building platforms and developer tools to serve engineering teams.
• Proven ability to define and drive engineering initiatives through cross-team collaboration.
• Experience with tech stack components such as relational DBs, RocksDB, ElasticSearch, Redis, or Kafka.
• Must be eligible to access technology subject to U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
