What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications with a focus on performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional distributed agile team to deliver high quality solution.
• Lead code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers to uphold coding standards and best practices.
• Support production systems via on-call roster.
• Understand and write infrastructure as a code.

Requirements

• Experienced in Java/JVM technologies, preferably springboot
• Previous experience in Kotlin is highly desirable
• Understand microservice architectures and RESTful APIs
• AWS experience with one or more of the following: EC2, Kinesis, SQS, Lambda, S3
• Competent with relational databases (e.g MySQL, Aurora) and key/value store databases (e.g. Cassandra, Redis)
• Understand code testability, build pipelines, docker, and CI/CD systems
