What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain Java applications focusing on performance and scalability
• Collaborate with cross-functional agile teams and participate in pair programming and code reviews
• Lead code reviews and mentor junior developers to uphold coding standards
• Participate in release planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews
• Write clean, well-organized code balancing performance, robustness, and extensibility
• Support production systems via on-call roster and contribute to infrastructure as code

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Manila, Philippines
• Experience with Java/JVM technologies, preferably Spring Boot
• Knowledge of Kotlin is highly desirable
• Understanding of microservice architectures and RESTful APIs
• Experience with AWS services such as EC2, Kinesis, SQS, Lambda, and S3
• Competence with relational and key/value databases like MySQL, Aurora, Cassandra, and Redis
• Familiarity with code testability, build pipelines, Docker, and CI/CD systems
