TL;DR

Junior Backend Developer (Backend): Building and maintaining backend systems using .NET and Azure with an accent on learning modern software practices, clean code, and cloud deployments. Focus on developing skills in testing, CI/CD pipelines, and collaborating within a cross-functional team in a hybrid work environment based in Liverpool.

Location: Hybrid in Liverpool HQ, UK (3 days in office)

Salary: £30,000–£35,000 depending on experience

What you will do

  • Learn to build and maintain backend systems in .NET and Azure
  • Write clean, reliable, and testable code
  • Pair with senior developers to solve problems and deliver features
  • Participate in team discussions, planning, and code reviews
  • Gradually take on more responsibility as skills grow
  • Bring curiosity and creativity to the team

Requirements

  • Some programming experience in C#, .NET or similar
  • Location: Must be able to work onsite in Liverpool HQ 3 days a week
  • Visa: At least one year remaining on Graduate or Post-Study Work visa; no visa sponsorship
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn and take feedback
  • Enjoy working collaboratively in a team
  • Curious about modern cloud-based system architecture

Nice to have

  • Experience or interest in Docker and CI/CD pipelines
  • Understanding of cloud deployments and architecture
