What you will do

• Develop and maintain scalable APIs using modern C# and .NET Core technologies
• Work with legacy systems including WCF services alongside modern tech stacks
• Implement secure API authentication and authorization using OAuth2, JWT, and OpenID Connect
• Handle data serialization, DTOs, and model binding effectively
• Write robust unit and integration tests to ensure code quality
• Collaborate on consuming third-party APIs and asynchronous programming

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in the United Kingdom
• Strong experience with C# and .NET Core / .NET 6/7/8
• Good understanding of RESTful API design and HTTP protocols
• Knowledge of secure coding practices and API security standards
• Experience with Entity Framework Core and SQL Server
• Familiarity with unit testing frameworks like xUnit, NUnit, and Moq

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines and CI/CD workflows
• Deployment experience on Azure, AWS Lambda, or container platforms
