What you will do

• Take ownership of existing and new security tooling such as endpoint protection, MDM, and access controls.
• Embed secure-by-design practices into the development lifecycle including secure coding, threat modeling, and design reviews.
• Monitor systems for irregular behavior and design detection and prevention mechanisms.
• Ensure infrastructure and applications comply with industry standards like OWASP Top 10 and AWS Well-Architected Framework.
• Conduct and lead risk assessments including third-party/vendor reviews and internal evaluations.
• Document and maintain security policies and controls as part of the ISO 27001-certified ISMS.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in the United Kingdom (London) with remote work allowed within the UK
• Hands-on experience deploying and managing security tooling such as EDR, MDM, ZTNA, or vulnerability scanners.
• Experience with Microsoft security ecosystem including Entra ID (Azure AD), Intune, and Defender.
• Strong foundations in networking, systems, and cloud infrastructure with knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and AWS Well-Architected Framework.
• Experience with secure SDLC practices including threat modeling, secure code review, and CI/CD hardening.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001 or SOC 2 and ability to document policies and audit evidence.
• Experience automating security tasks using Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
