TL;DR

Location: Hybrid setup, with a preference for onsite work in Manila.

What you will do

  • Collaborate with Engineering and Product leaders to set roadmap, goals, and priorities for the flagship portfolio.
  • Drive the delivery of roadmap items and projects.
  • Build, lead, and develop technical teams, including coaching and performance management.
  • Recruit and onboard new team members.
  • Ensure consistent engineering practices and delivery methodologies.
  • Contribute to wider engineering initiatives and ensure high-quality software delivery.

Requirements

  • Experience leading and managing technical teams in a software/SAAS environment.
  • Demonstrated experience leading technically complex projects.
  • Experience in hiring, evaluating performance, and developing software engineers' skills and careers.
  • Experience implementing efficient processes to accelerate software development and improve quality.
  • In-depth understanding of agile software development methodologies and tools (Jira, Confluence).
  • Competent knowledge of project and change management principles and methodologies (scope, timeline, budgets).

Nice to have

  • Experience with geographically distributed teams and international experience.
  • Understanding and demonstrable experience of high-volume real-time systems.
