What you will do

• Build and refine scalable backend systems using Python.
• Design infrastructure on AWS and implement robust CI/CD pipelines.
• Write clean, tested code that supports millions of users worldwide.
• Collaborate closely with a global, diverse team of engineers.
• Advocate for best practices, continuous improvement, and thoughtful architecture.
• Showcase your work in regular demos, and give and receive feedback.

Requirements

• Strong Python experience, having built backend services using Django.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and tools like Terraform, CDK, or CloudFormation.
• Understanding of how to ship code with confidence through CI/CD, testing, and monitoring.
• Comfortable with Docker, Kubernetes, and scalable system design.
• Proficiency with relational and schema-less databases.
• A collaborative spirit and a willingness to help others grow.

Nice to have

• Experience with Go or Node.js.
• Experience with GraphQL and gRPC.
