What you will do

• Standardize message detection flow and decision logic to scale with growing customers and data.
• Build tooling and infrastructure for confident and safe code changes.
• Develop tools to monitor detection efficacy and maintain high performance.
• Ensure seamless integration with other hirify.global products and standardized detection outputs.
• Write clean, testable, and readable code with attention to edge cases and errors.
• Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and software development lifecycle activities.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Canada for remote work
• 2+ years experience designing and building software applications.
• Experience with large-scale, data-intensive systems requiring high availability and low latency.
• Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, and Redis.
• Strong debugging skills using log analytics and metrics.
• Ability to translate business requirements into high-quality software implementations.
• BS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

Nice to have

• Experience with Go and Python.
• Background in cybersecurity, financial fraud, or application security.
• Knowledge of big data, statistics, and machine learning.
• Familiarity with Airflow, Kubernetes, Kafka, Spark, and Pandas.
• Experience with algorithms and optimization.
