What you will do

• Build streaming infrastructure for our data integration platform, capturing data from platforms like Slack and Teams.
• Integrate customers into new streaming infrastructure, migrating them from older polling models where necessary.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and the Account TakeOver (ATO) Detection team on product requirements and frontend implementation.
• Partner with the ATO Detection team to understand and represent their needs, converting them into ATO Infrastructure team deliverables.
• Contribute to team growth through excellent interview practices and by attracting talent.

Requirements

• Experience with streaming data systems (Kafka, Spark, Map/Reduce) for processing large datasets.
• Experience building and operating distributed systems and services at a high scale (~billions of transactions daily).
• Experience working with external party APIs.
• 3-5 years of overall software engineering experience.
• Strong sense of best practices in developing software.
• Excellent communication skills across both verbal and written mediums for a distributed team.
• Comfortable with a high level of uncertainty and ambiguity, working on a new product from scratch.
• Eligibility to access controlled technology under U.S. export control laws.

Nice to have

• 2+ years of Python experience.
• Experience working with internal as well as external APIs.
