What you will do

• Translate requirements into rapid prototypes and productize solutions using AI tools.
• Develop frontend components in React and backend logic in Java, integrating APIs and databases (PostgreSQL/MongoDB).
• Incorporate AI continuously into development cycles for code generation, testing, and debugging.
• Maintain high code quality through unit tests and code reviews, mentoring team members on AI-assisted workflows.
• Advocate and implement improvements in system tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and AI tools.

Requirements

• Must work remotely from Germany or Romania.
• 5–8 years of experience building software products, preferably SaaS.
• Proficiency in full-stack development: Java backend, React/TypeScript frontend, SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Strong product mindset and problem-solving initiative.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a distributed remote team within Central European working hours.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI-assisted development tools and workflows.
• Startup or founding engineer experience.
