What you will do

• Own backend development and technical direction in your product area.
• Collaborate with CTO, Tech Lead, product, design teams, and customers to plan and deliver features.
• Deploy, monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain backend features and systems.
• Leverage AI-powered engineering tools to accelerate development and testing.
• Mentor junior engineers and support team members.
• Maintain product and technical documentation and follow company culture guidelines.

Requirements

• Remote work within Europe with strong communication skills for a fully remote environment.
• 5-8 years of backend or product engineering experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong object-oriented programming, relational database design, and SQL optimization skills.
• Experience designing scalable backend systems and owning features end-to-end.
• Familiarity with AI-powered engineering tools and ability to validate their outputs.
• Ability to mentor others and collaborate proactively in a startup setting.

Nice to have

• Experience with Golang and/or Typescript.
• Previous work in fully remote companies or early-stage startups.
• Built or integrated AI features in production.
• Experience in high-growth VC-funded startups.
