What you will do
- Own backend development and technical direction in your product area.
- Collaborate with CTO, Tech Lead, product, design teams, and customers to plan and deliver features.
- Deploy, monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain backend features and systems.
- Leverage AI-powered engineering tools to accelerate development and testing.
- Mentor junior engineers and support team members.
- Maintain product and technical documentation and follow company culture guidelines.
Requirements
- Remote work within Europe with strong communication skills for a fully remote environment.
- 5-8 years of backend or product engineering experience with Java and Spring Boot.
- Strong object-oriented programming, relational database design, and SQL optimization skills.
- Experience designing scalable backend systems and owning features end-to-end.
- Familiarity with AI-powered engineering tools and ability to validate their outputs.
- Ability to mentor others and collaborate proactively in a startup setting.
Nice to have
- Experience with Golang and/or Typescript.
- Previous work in fully remote companies or early-stage startups.
- Built or integrated AI features in production.
- Experience in high-growth VC-funded startups.
