What you will do

• Collaborate with the team and stakeholders to define and implement a scalable system architecture for the insurance platform.
• Own and help maintain the infrastructure, focusing on good developer experience (Terraform, Kafka, Datadog, Qovery).
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code that promotes best practices.
• Explore and propose new technologies to streamline processes and improve system efficiency.
• Champion engineering best practices and help elevate the tech stack.
• Create reusable solutions that help teams scale faster.

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend development experience, working on complex systems and platform solutions.
• Experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, and AWS.
• Strong passion for building, maintaining, and improving platform tooling, libraries, solutions, and processes.
• Solid experience with Ruby on Rails and a deep understanding of developing high-quality, reliable software.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills, able to work across teams.
• Commitment to delivering solutions that are well-tested, reliable, and maintainable.

Nice to have

• Proven experience in fintech environments or startups.
