What you will do

• Architect and lead development of integrated tools for document intake, metadata capture, validation, and submission.
• Design and deliver an Inventory Management System for tracking physical submissions.
• Build scalable ingestion pipelines with SLA-based prioritization and metadata validation workflows.
• Implement interfaces for manual and AI/ML-assisted metadata extraction aligned with IRS schemas.
• Ensure systems support human QA review and maintain audit trails within FedRAMP High-certified cloud environments.
• Lead technical reviews, sprint planning, and maintain CI/CD pipelines with automated testing.

Requirements

• Must have ability to obtain and maintain IRS clearance.
• 12+ years of software engineering experience with at least 3 years in architecture or team lead roles.
• Proven experience delivering secure, scalable applications in FedRAMP High cloud environments.
• Strong knowledge of AI-assisted data extraction, metadata validation, and secure document handling.
• Experience with CI/CD, automated testing frameworks, and quality gates.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional coordination skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, or GCP Assured Workloads.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools like Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and SonarQube.
• Knowledge of IRS MeF or other IRS tax systems.
