What you will do
- Architect and lead development of integrated tools for document intake, metadata capture, validation, and submission.
- Design and deliver an Inventory Management System for tracking physical submissions.
- Build scalable ingestion pipelines with SLA-based prioritization and metadata validation workflows.
- Implement interfaces for manual and AI/ML-assisted metadata extraction aligned with IRS schemas.
- Ensure systems support human QA review and maintain audit trails within FedRAMP High-certified cloud environments.
- Lead technical reviews, sprint planning, and maintain CI/CD pipelines with automated testing.
Requirements
- Must have ability to obtain and maintain IRS clearance.
- 12+ years of software engineering experience with at least 3 years in architecture or team lead roles.
- Proven experience delivering secure, scalable applications in FedRAMP High cloud environments.
- Strong knowledge of AI-assisted data extraction, metadata validation, and secure document handling.
- Experience with CI/CD, automated testing frameworks, and quality gates.
- Strong leadership and cross-functional coordination skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, or GCP Assured Workloads.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools like Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and SonarQube.
- Knowledge of IRS MeF or other IRS tax systems.
