What you will do

• Collaborate with customers, product managers, engineers, and support to build high-value data solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and drive long-term scalable architecture and best practices.
• Build and maintain data ingestion pathways including APIs, file processing, and configurable inputs.
• Own end-to-end data/infrastructure engineering from concept to solution in cross-functional teams.
• Optimize data pipeline architecture for readability, maintainability, and cost efficiency.
• Integrate with machine learning and data science systems to deliver customer insights.

Requirements

• Must be located in Canada or able to work remotely from Canada.
• 8+ years of experience in data engineering and software development.
• Strong knowledge of data processing for real-time and batch systems.
• Experience with SQL, Java, Scala, Spark, and Python.
• Experience designing high-performance systems with monitoring and logging.
• Familiarity with data pipeline orchestration tools and cloud infrastructure.

Nice to have

• Experience with Bigquery, Airflow, dbt, Kafka, Pinot.
• Background in marketing, e-commerce, or ad-tech.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform, Azure, or AWS.
• Interest or experience in infrastructure-as-code.
