What you will do
- Collaborate with customers, product managers, engineers, and support to build high-value data solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and drive long-term scalable architecture and best practices.
- Build and maintain data ingestion pathways including APIs, file processing, and configurable inputs.
- Own end-to-end data/infrastructure engineering from concept to solution in cross-functional teams.
- Optimize data pipeline architecture for readability, maintainability, and cost efficiency.
- Integrate with machine learning and data science systems to deliver customer insights.
Requirements
- Must be located in Canada or able to work remotely from Canada.
- 8+ years of experience in data engineering and software development.
- Strong knowledge of data processing for real-time and batch systems.
- Experience with SQL, Java, Scala, Spark, and Python.
- Experience designing high-performance systems with monitoring and logging.
- Familiarity with data pipeline orchestration tools and cloud infrastructure.
Nice to have
- Experience with Bigquery, Airflow, dbt, Kafka, Pinot.
- Background in marketing, e-commerce, or ad-tech.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform, Azure, or AWS.
- Interest or experience in infrastructure-as-code.
