Location: Brooklyn, NY or Remote (North America). NYC metro candidates are required to be in office 2-3x/week.

What you will do
- Maintain and advance Avalanche’s EVM-compatible chains.
- Design and implement paradigm-shifting extensions on top of vanilla EVMs without breaking ecosystem compatibility.
- Contribute to projects like libevm (EVM as a library) and Streaming Asynchronous Execution (decoupled consensus and execution).
Requirements
- Highly proficient in Golang; comfortable mentoring others.
- Independent Solidity experience; comfortable deploying smart contracts to production.
- Deep knowledge of the life of an EVM transaction, from wallet to opcode.
- Self-starter with insatiable curiosity, comfortable diving into existing code.
- Meticulous attention to detail and appreciation for clean, maintainable code.
- Comfortable in a hacker culture.

- Demonstrable experience with geth internals.
