What you will do

• Design and enforce secure AWS architectures including IAM, encryption, VPC segmentation, and security monitoring.
• Manage AWS-native security tools such as GuardDuty, Security Hub, Inspector, and integrate policies into CI/CD workflows.
• Harden Kubernetes and container workloads ensuring best practices for AWS EKS and cloud-native threat detection.
• Implement perimeter and network protections including firewalls, WAFs, bot protection, and hybrid connectivity.
• Drive continuous visibility and compliance by defining KPIs, enabling anomaly detection, and embedding security from design to operation.

Requirements

• Location: Hybrid work model based in Vienna, Austria
• 3+ years securing AWS in production, preferably in regulated or high-compliance environments.
• Strong knowledge of AWS security services, Kubernetes security, and cloud-native security principles.
• Experience with automation tools like Python, Bash, Terraform, CloudFormation, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of networking, compliance frameworks (DORA, ISO27001, CIS), and ability to lead technical audit discussions.
• English: Required, at least B2 level
