Salary: $120,000 - $170,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop and maintain high-fidelity real-time simulation software for all hirify.global vehicles
• Create prototypes to validate design concepts and technical constraints
• Improve reliability and performance of simulation software
• Collaborate with simulation software users to develop new features and enhance user experience
• Maintain high standards of software excellence and best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or STEM discipline, or 2+ years professional software development experience
• 1+ years development experience in C/C++
• Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee to comply with ITAR regulations
• Willingness to work extended hours and weekends when needed
• Strong software design, debugging, and performance optimization skills
• Knowledge of distributed computing, networking protocols, and classical physics and math

Nice to have

• Experience with open source C++ simulators such as ROS2 and Gazebo
• Ability to work effectively in dynamic environments and independently
