What you will do

• Develop and optimize marketing solutions within Salesforce Marketing Cloud to enhance customer interactions and drive business growth.
• Define technical specifications for new features and services, ensuring best practices, scalability, and testing.
• Maintain and improve the existing Salesforce Marketing Cloud codebase.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and CRM teams to ensure reliable integration of campaigns, channels, and products.
• Mentor junior engineers and review their code, contributing to their growth and knowledge.
• Make key technical decisions aligned with the technical roadmap and platform re-engineering.

Requirements

• Deep understanding of SFMC's data architecture and contact mappings.
• Advanced SQL and data modeling skills for complex queries and sophisticated data models.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience delivering enterprise-level solutions in an implementation-facing environment.
• Proficiency in AMPscript and SSJS for dynamic data handling and user experiences.
• Experience integrating SFMC with other Salesforce clouds (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud) and external systems via API and SFTP.
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS and JavaScript for creating personalized and responsive email templates and cloud pages.
• Solid understanding of customer relationship management (CRM) and web-based channels.
• Some knowledge of GDPR data governance policies and handling of PII data.
