Senior Product Manager (API)

TL;DR

Senior Product Manager (API): Defining, designing, building, and bringing to market hirify.global API products with an accent on a world-class integration experience for merchants/partners and developers. Focus on shaping product vision, defining roadmaps, designing and documenting APIs, and overseeing development to meet merchant needs.

Location: Primarily remote within the United States; however, candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance to one of our office locations in Canada (Edmonton, Quebec City, Toronto, or Vancouver) for occasional on-site presence. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Candidates must be legally authorized to work for any employer in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for current or future immigration sponsorship.

What you will do

• Define, design, build, and bring to market hirify.global products and capabilities via API.
• Shape the product vision, define the product roadmap, and design and document APIs.
• Oversee the development of API changes, providing product direction to delivery teams.
• Create business and functional requirements for technical delivery teams and manage the product life cycle.
• Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and manage product performance post-launch.
• Develop and deliver training to regional product, sales, and customer success teams.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3-5 years of product management experience.
• Passion for API design and documentation using the OpenAPI Specification.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate complex problems clearly.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across local and global teams.
• Interest in continuous learning and development within the payments technology landscape.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or technology, or comparable market experience.

Nice to have

• Background in software engineering.
• Knowledge of payments technologies.
• Experience with Stoplight, GitHub, SDKs, Libraries, and Developer Portals.
