TL;DR

Location: Hybrid (Alpharetta, US) and Remote (NC, US; GA, US; Colombia; Brazil)

What you will do

  • Provide technical support for internally developed software applications and Navis products.
  • Manage customer cases from start to resolution, collaborating with development and QA teams.
  • Verify, reproduce, and isolate software defects in lab environments.
  • Investigate and answer customer "question" cases using reference materials.
  • Perform on-site tasks, including software/hardware upgrades and critical defect resolution.
  • Participate in a global 24x7 on-call duty roster and account management activities.

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 2+ years of N4 TOS product support experience, preferably in container terminal, shipping, or logistics industries.
  • Proficiency in networking, MS SQL Server, Oracle, and familiarity with Java, EDI, Spring, Hibernate, Xenos Transform Designer, J2EE.
  • Hands-on experience with JAVA, XML, and client-server applications.
  • Understanding of relational database structures and web-based enterprise solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Willingness to travel as needed and ability to work extended hours under tight deadlines.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts based on business requirements.

Nice to have

  • Experience with automation terminals.
  • Knowledge and experience coding with Core Java/Groovy.
  • Familiarity with diagnostic tools like Hyperic.
