What you will do

• Create and evaluate high-quality multimodal datasets for training and model assessment.
• Develop and maintain scalable data ingestion, preprocessing, filtering, and annotation pipelines.
• Analyze dataset quality, diversity, and relevance to identify improvements.
• Build tools for dataset auditing, visualization, and versioning.
• Collaborate with Safety, Ethics, and Governance teams to ensure responsible AI data practices.
• Embody company culture and values in daily work.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in or able to work onsite in Redmond, United States
• Bachelor’s degree in AI, Computer Science, Data Science, or related technical field with 4+ years engineering experience or equivalent.
• Experience with Python and data libraries such as Pandas and NumPy.
• 2+ years in data analysis or data engineering with large-scale unstructured or semi-structured datasets.
• Proficiency in statistics and exploratory data analysis methods.
• Familiarity with data processing frameworks like Spark, Ray, or Apache Beam.
• Ability to communicate technical findings clearly to research and product teams.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or extensive experience (8+ years) in relevant technical disciplines.
