Principal Data & Analytics Scientist (Advertising)

Principal Data & Analytics Scientist (Advertising): Defining, monitoring, and interpreting business metrics and building analytical & experimentation frameworks for hirify.global's global monetization marketplace with an accent on complex data science and analytics problems. Focus on translating strategy into measurable plans and driving data-driven decisions across Engineering, Product, and Business.

Location: Hybrid (Redmond, WA, Mountain View, CA, New York, NY, or Atlanta, GA) – must be local to the area and in office 3 days a week. From January 26, 2026, expected to work from a designated hirify.global office at least four days a week if living within 50 miles.

Salary: $220,800 – $331,200 USD per year (for San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area) or $163,000 – $296,400 USD per year (other U.S. locations).

• Deliver and interpret product insights from analyses to continuously improve products.
• Define, invent, and deliver metrics to accurately measure user and business value across various products.
• Design and implement experiments, critically thinking about sampling across user and demand dimensions.
• Collaborate effectively with program management, engineers, and other business areas.
• Influence stakeholders with clear, compelling, and actionable data-driven insights.
• Make independent decisions for the team and handle difficult tradeoffs.

Requirements

• Doctorate in Data Science or related field AND 8+ years data science experience, OR Master’s Degree AND 10+ years experience, OR Bachelor’s Degree AND 12+ years experience.
• 5+ years of experience in at least one of Python, R, MATLAB, C#, Java, or C++.
• 5+ years of experience with real-world system building and data collection, including design, coding, and evaluation.
• Work location: Must be local to Redmond, WA, Mountain View, CA, New York, NY, or Atlanta, GA.
• In office: Required 3 days a week.
