What you will do

• Build, ship, and maintain backend services using Node.js, Socket.IO, AWS Amplify, and DynamoDB
• Develop frontend applications with TypeScript, React, and Next.js
• Design and integrate REST and GraphQL APIs for scalable data access
• Design and evaluate AI prompt orchestration and memory strategies for consistent outputs
• Monitor and tune AI performance across providers and model versions
• Participate in code reviews and architecture discussions to ensure code quality and maintainability

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in the US or able to work remotely within US time zones
• 3+ years of full-stack engineering experience building production-grade services
• Professional experience with TypeScript, API development, and system integration
• Experience building reusable UI components with React and Next.js
• Strong database schema design and query optimization skills
• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS Amplify and LLM orchestration frameworks like LangChain
• Startup experience and ability to work in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
• Prior experience with voice technology and AI-driven applications
• Familiarity with Electron and cross-platform desktop or mobile app development
