SAP RAR Consultant (SAP)

TL;DR

SAP RAR Consultant (SAP): Designing and implementing revenue accounting and reporting solutions that integrate seamlessly with SAP systems with an accent on accurate financial compliance and streamlined order-to-cash processes. Focus on leading end-to-end SAP RAR implementations, integrating with FI, SD, and BRIM, and ensuring compliance with IFRS 15/16.

Location: This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days a week in a client office in Austin, TX or Sunnyvale, CA. Not able to offer visa transfer or sponsorship now or in the future.

Salary: $112,500–$132,000

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end SAP RAR implementations, including migration and integration with FI, SD, and/or BRIM.
• Design and configure RAR processes, ensuring compliance with IFRS 15/16 and revenue recognition standards.
• Collaborate with business teams to analyze requirements, identify gaps, and deliver solution enhancements.
• Provide functional leadership for SAP RAR, supporting group reporting and resolving complex integration issues between SAP and non-SAP systems.
• Support project management activities including planning, risk management, and reporting.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of SAP consulting experience with at least 3 years in SAP RAR.
• Deep understanding of order-to-cash processes, SD/FICO integration, BRIM, IFRS 16, COPA, and revenue recognition.
• Experience in solution design and configuration across RAR, SD, and FI/CO modules.
• Demonstrated leadership in coordinating cross-functional teams and delivering best-practice solutions.
• Experience working in an onsite-offshore model and managing global stakeholders.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including documentation and executive presentations.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in high-tech or software industries.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field or CPA or equivalent certification.
