What you will do

• Take full ownership of the product listings domain and refine/prioritise the development backlog.
• Shape business epics and stories, translating complex requirements into functional designs.
• Guide the development of key capabilities, including smart custom fields and ongoing AI enhancements.
• Ensure smooth integrations with major marketplaces like Bol.
• Support the development team throughout sprints, manage scope, and review completed work.
• Drive usability improvements in challenging platform areas, partnering with UX.

Requirements

• At least 5 years’ experience as an IT Business Analyst, Technical Product Owner, or Project Manager within B2B SaaS development.
• Strong product ownership fundamentals, balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
• Experience conducting customer discovery and validating problems.
• Track record of defining success metrics and using data for product decisions.
• Agile/SCRUM experience with ability to run a product area independently.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Must be living within commuting distance of Leiden.

Nice to have

• E-commerce or marketplace experience.
• Technical depth in software development, APIs, integrations, or platform architecture.
• Experience with AI/ML product features.
• PSPO or similar Product Owner certification.
