What you will do
- Provide legal and regulatory support to the US business, considering global impact.
- Monitor, assess, and advise on legal and regulatory issues for entity licensing and registration, product development, and distribution.
- Support hirify.global in various licensing and registration initiatives (e.g., FCM, DCM, RIA, OCC applications).
- Partner with Compliance on regulatory licensing and liaise with local regulators when necessary.
- Ensure the US business is aligned with applicable laws and regulations, coordinating with colleagues in the UK, Europe, and Latin America.
- Handle and/or assist with regulatory inquiries and investigations.
Requirements
- LLB/JD and admission in a US jurisdiction.
- 5 - 8+ years relevant regulatory experience; in-house FinTech experience a bonus.
- Experience advising on CFTC / derivatives matters and familiarity with wider US regulatory frameworks (RIAs, broker dealers, banking).
- Ability to work well under pressure with diligence, organization, and minimal supervision, providing practical, business-friendly advice.
- Strong analytical and strategic skills to drive issues to quick resolution factoring in non-legal variables.
