Senior Counsel, Regulatory US (Web3, Fintech)

Senior Counsel (US, Web3/Fintech): Providing legal and regulatory support for hirify.global's US business, covering institutional and consumer lines with an accent on pioneering new crypto licensing regimes and shaping the regulatory environment. Focus on monitoring regulatory issues, supporting licensing initiatives, and ensuring compliance with applicable US laws.

Location: This is a role based in our Dallas office, with a mandatory in-office presence four days per week.

What you will do

• Provide legal and regulatory support to the US business, considering global impacts.
• Monitor, assess, and advise on legal and regulatory issues affecting entity licensing, registration, product development, and distribution.
• Support various licensing and registration initiatives, including potential FCM, DCM, RIA, and OCC applications.
• Partner with Compliance on regulatory licensing and liaise with local regulators.
• Ensure the US business aligns with applicable regional laws and regulations, coordinating with international colleagues.
• Handle or assist with regulatory inquiries and investigations.
• Work across business units to resolve complex business and risk issues.
• Engage outside counsel relationships as needed.

Requirements

• LLB/JD and admission in a US jurisdiction.
• 5 - 8+ years of relevant regulatory experience.
• Experience advising on CFTC / derivatives matters.
• Familiarity with wider US regulatory frameworks, such as RIAs, broker dealers, and banking.
• Ability to work under pressure with diligence, organization, and minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical and strategic skills to drive quick resolutions.
