What you will do

• Build and operate high cohesion, low coupling backend services in an agile "build it and run it" environment
• Collaborate closely with squad members and staff engineers to align technical direction
• Contribute to the transition from monolith to distributed service-oriented architecture
• Ensure security and privacy by design in all backend services
• Support and share knowledge within the team and across technical chapters

Requirements

• Location: Hybrid work in Paris with mandatory Monday onsite
• English: Must be fluent as the team is international (US/FR/ES/JP)
• Strong experience with Python and backend frameworks like FastAPI and SQLAlchemy
• Experience with distributed systems, microservices, and service-oriented architecture
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (GCP, Kubernetes, Docker) and CI/CD tools
