What you will do

• Lead and manage a card payment operations team, monitoring workload, quality, and providing coaching and training for processes.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Payment Operations, Support, Product, and Data teams to achieve operational excellence.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying bottlenecks and designing solutions to boost efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Manage complex card payment support and escalations for internal stakeholders, including payment inquiries and transaction research.
• Provide thought leadership, integrating industry best practices and innovative strategies into the card payment operations function.
• Generate and present regular reporting to management, detailing performance metrics, KPIs, and operational risks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in payment operations within fintech, banking, or card payments, with a strong focus on commercial card programs.
• 3+ years of leadership experience managing or supervising operations staff; experience with remote team management is a plus.
• Deep understanding of card payments concepts, including authorization, clearing, settlement, chargebacks, and operating rules for Visa, Mastercard, and other relevant networks.
• Experience managing or supporting corporate card and virtual card programs.
• Proficiency with SalesForce, ZenDesk, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and Google Suite.
