What you will do

• Architect and build scalable backend systems for real-time ad delivery and performance tracking.
• Design efficient REST and GraphQL APIs for internal and external use.
• Develop data-intensive components including event processing and attribution tracking.
• Ensure system performance under load using profiling, caching, and horizontal scaling.
• Integrate third-party platforms and analytics tools via RESTful APIs.
• Contribute to containerized deployments and observability with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with product and data teams to enhance campaign effectiveness.

Requirements

• Location: Must be able to work hybrid in Hamburg, Germany
• 5+ years backend experience, 2+ years in high-volume data environments (Ad-Tech preferred).
• Strong Python skills with FastAPI or Flask experience.
• Experience with REST, GraphQL, distributed systems, Kafka, RabbitMQ.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure.
• Good communication skills and analytical mindset.

Nice to have

• Experience with ad serving logic, fraud prevention, or real-time bidding.
