Software Engineer

What you will do

• Participate in the full software development lifecycle including design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Design efficient, scalable, and highly available technical solutions for business needs.
• Write clean, reusable code with strong focus on object-oriented programming and unit testing.
• Collaborate closely with data science teams to develop and maintain deployment frameworks for data science solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and production troubleshooting alongside operations and release teams.
• Work within a scrum team and stay updated with coding standards and relevant technologies.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Belgrade, Serbia for onsite work
• English: Fluent verbal and written proficiency required
• 2+ years of software development experience with object-oriented languages (Python, C#, Java, C++).
• Strong understanding of OOP, design patterns, algorithms, and relational databases.
• Experience with Git, REST API development, and problem-solving skills.
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python and async frameworks.
• Knowledge of concurrent and parallel programming.
• Familiarity with Linux platform and network protocols.
• Experience designing high-throughput, distributed services and working with queuing solutions, non-relational databases, caching, ETL processes, and AWS.
