What you will do

• Own the enterprise Copilot strategy and governance, acting as the hands-on technical SME for M365 integrations and data flows.
• Design and deliver enterprise-scale Microsoft Purview compliance (retention, sensitivity labeling, DLP) across M365 services, ensuring Copilot-created content inherits labels.
• Co-create organization-wide data taxonomy with business stakeholders and translate it into technical controls, with Entra ID integration.
• Configure grounding and data-access controls, validate ACLs, and remediate oversharing across sites and links for Copilot safety.
• Lead data hygiene, oversharing remediation, and run sandbox/pilot testing, defining exception processes for Copilot readiness.
• Enable Purview Audit and Copilot analytics, building dashboards and custom reports to evidence readiness and ongoing compliance and advise on licensing.

Requirements

• Deep, demonstrable understanding of Microsoft 365 and the wider Microsoft cloud ecosystem, with specific expertise in planning and delivering Microsoft 365 Copilot at enterprise scale.
• Enterprise-scale delivery of Microsoft Purview compliance: end-to-end design and rollout of Records/Data Lifecycle, sensitivity labelling, and DLP.
• Hands-on configuration and tuning of retention, sensitivity labelling, and DLP policies with measurable adoption and risk-reduction outcomes.
• Proven stakeholder leadership in complex enterprises, translating legal/regulatory and business needs into actionable Copilot roadmaps and governance controls.
• Data classification taxonomy and governance design, co-developing with business teams and translating it into technical controls with Microsoft Entra ID integration.
