Senior Software Engineer (Cloud)

TL;DR

Senior Software Engineer (Cloud): Building and maintaining best-of-breed products and infrastructure using Go.lang, Kubernetes, and Terraform, with an accent on designing and implementing microservices and automating tooling for cloud-based infrastructure. Focus on supporting hundreds to thousands of hirify.global customers automatically and ensuring long-term code maintainability.

Location: Hybrid schedule requiring work in office a minimum of three days per week in one of the following locations: Addison, TX; Bellevue, WA; Durham, NC; Emeryville, CA; or Reston, VA. Applicants must be a U.S. citizen, national, or resident.

Salary: $120,000–$355,000 annually

What you will do

• Build and maintain software stacks with Go.lang.
• Build and maintain hirify.global's Kubernetes Helm charts and infrastructure build scripts with Terraform.
• Build tooling to support hundreds to thousands of hirify.global customers automatically.
• Design and implement microservices to split apart core hirify.global functionality.
• Author technical documents and artifacts for developed software.

Requirements

• 5+ years industry experience supporting a cloud-based infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Golang (preferred), Node.js, Python, Ruby, Rust, or Java.
• Experience with API design and development.
• Experience with Azure or AWS, and containers/microservices.
• Experience with modern software engineering development and automation tools like GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
• Knowledge of container orchestration solutions (preferably Kubernetes).

• Bachelor's degree in CS or a related technical field.
