• Implement strategic policies and develop novel, high-performance algorithms for distributed systems ensuring high reliability.
• Own end-to-end delivery of innovations from concept to deployment impacting critical business outcomes.
• Analyze and resolve complex technical issues as a subject matter expert.
• Collaborate across teams to gather requirements and influence system design decisions.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate technical activities within project sub-teams.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Santa Clara, CA and work onsite 4 days a week
• Extensive experience with C++, Java, or Go in systems software development.
• Deep knowledge of distributed systems, operating systems, database internals, and containerization.
• Strong design skills and ability to advocate architectural choices collaboratively.
• Proven track record in delivering complex engineering initiatives on schedule.
• English: Proficient (B2) required
