• Lead and grow a high-performing team of 4-6 backend engineers within the Media Platform group.
• Balance strategic platform initiatives with high-volume product feature requests across hirify.global.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and solve complex distributed systems challenges.
• Partner with teams across hirify.global to align roadmaps and accelerate delivery.
• Champion engineering excellence and improve operational health at scale.
• Create clarity by translating big-picture strategy into actionable milestones and metrics.

Requirements

• Experience leading backend platform teams and coaching engineers at all levels, especially senior engineers.
• Deep expertise in backend or distributed systems, and a love for building at scale.
• Ability to thrive on strategic problem-solving and navigate ambiguity and shifting priorities.
• Strong communication skills that balance technical depth with business context.
• Experience working in high-growth environments and managing competing demands effectively.
