Principal Fullstack Engineer

TL;DR

Principal Fullstack Engineer: Building and optimizing high-load backend and frontend web applications for digital platforms with an accent on API design, microservices architecture, and customer experience. Location: Hybrid, requiring associates to work onsite every other week (all business days, M-F) in a hirify.global office in the US, with Westlake, TX mentioned as a possible location.

What you will do

• Play a key role on Scrum teams within Digital Platforms Technology.
• Deliver outstanding customer experience solutions for web applications.
• Work closely with Squad Lead, Scrum Master, Developers, QA, and Architects to craft, build, test, and deliver features.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to other Developers.
• Decompose complex business problems into creative, efficient, and scalable solutions.

Requirements

• 8+ years of fullstack software engineering experience; with a focus in financial services applications is a plus.
• BS/BA Degree or equivalent experience required.
• Extensive experience with modern MV*/SPA JavaScript frameworks (Angular, Vue, React JS), preferably Angular.
• Hands-on experience with API Design & Development and Microservices Architecture (Java, REST, GraphQL, NodeJS).
• Proficiency with server-side/mid-tier languages and frameworks: Java EE, Apache Tomcat, Spring MVC/Spring Boot, Logback, SLF4j, Maven.
• Proficiency with client-side languages and frameworks: Angular 8+, JavaScript/TypeScript, Node, NPM, HTML/CSS, RxJS, Jasmine/Karma.
• Must be able to work onsite every other week in a hirify.global office in the US.
• English: B2 required.

Nice to have

• Experience with DevOps concepts (SCM, continuous integration, monitoring, and deployment processes).
• Knowledge of enterprise application architecture patterns such as Apache Camel.
• Experience with Docker containerization and AWS cloud deployment and application management.
• AWS certification(s).
• Experience with The W3C’s Web Content Accessibility Guidelines and their implementation.
