What you will do

• Assist in design, implementation, and testing of AI-driven systems and tools.
• Support development of intelligent agents and task automation pipelines including prompt engineering.
• Contribute to training and fine-tuning of large language and multimodal models.
• Help optimize model performance on devices focusing on efficiency and latency.
• Explore knowledge management technologies like vector databases and knowledge graphs.
• Evaluate AI models for performance, accuracy, robustness, and fairness.

Requirements

• Location: Must be onsite in Morrisville, North Carolina, USA
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in relevant technical fields.
• Strong interest and basic understanding of AI, machine learning, and deep learning.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, Java, or Kotlin.
• Familiarity with Linux, Windows, or Android operating systems.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with personal or academic AI projects including LLMs and multimodal models.
• Previous internship experience in software development or AI.
• Contributions to open-source AI projects.
• Publications in leading AI conferences or journals.
