Senior Physical Design Engineer

Senior Physical Design Engineer: Driving the entire physical implementation flow of semiconductor designs with an accent on PPA optimization, power planning, and timing closure. Focus on leveraging EDA tools, performing static timing verification, and addressing power integrity issues in advanced technology nodes.

What you will do

• Drive the backend physical implementation process from floor-planning to signoff.
• Perform floor-planning, block partitioning, and power planning.
• Conduct Place & Route focusing on power and area optimization.
• Execute Clock Tree Synthesis, inspection, and optimization.
• Perform static timing verification and achieve timing closure.
• Handle physical verification (DRC, ANT, DFM, LVS, ERC) and EM/IR signoff.

Requirements

• 7+ years of Physical Design experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with low-power designs and SOC design.
• Advanced technology node experience.
• Good scripting skills.
