What you will do

• Build and maintain backend services and REST endpoints.
• Write clean, readable, and tested code.
• Review code and contribute to good engineering practices.
• Collaborate with engineers, product, and operations.
• Own your area in production: monitor, fix bugs, and improve reliability.
• Integrate external services via APIs and documentation.

Requirements

• Solid JavaScript/TypeScript skills.
• Hands-on experience building REST APIs and working with relational databases.
• Git proficiency.
• Must be present 5 days a week in the Berlin office.

Nice to have

• GraphQL exposure.
• Experience with queue systems (e.g., RabbitMQ, Redis) or messaging patterns.
• Familiarity with Linux and Docker.
• Continuous Integration (CI) experience.
