What you will do

• Architect, design, and operate microservices using Node.js and Typescript
• Lead and mentor a high-performing backend engineering team
• Build scalable, event-driven backend systems and APIs
• Optimize database performance with PostgreSQL and design schemas
• Drive DevOps culture through CI/CD and cloud-based solutions
• Improve deployment and release processes

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in or near Berlin (hybrid/remote options available)
• Strong expertise in Node.js, Typescript, and distributed applications
• Experience leading and growing engineering teams
• Knowledge of microservices, event-driven systems, and API design
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and database schema design
• English: Excellent communication skills required
