TL;DR

Senior Human Resources Business Partner (Tech): Partnering with leadership to develop and execute HR strategies supporting Engineering, Product, and Data teams with an accent on performance management, organizational development, and employee relations. Focus on coaching, talent acquisition, and aligning people strategies with business goals in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Location: Hybrid role based in New York City with work from home on Monday and Friday

Salary: $150,000 - $175,000 (base salary range, exclusive of bonus and equity)

What you will do

  • Advise and coach management on performance management, career development, employee relations, and organizational scaling.
  • Build trusting partnerships with senior leaders and managers across the employee lifecycle.
  • Address complex workplace issues and provide actionable solutions to improve performance and mitigate risks.
  • Align people strategies with business goals and support organizational design and talent initiatives.
  • Analyze people team metrics to inform HR strategy and support growth.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to accelerate hiring and serve as a strategic partner for People Operations.

Requirements

  • Location: Must be based in New York City area
  • 7+ years of direct HRBP or equivalent experience, with 3+ years supporting Tech and Product teams.
  • Experience in high-growth startups or scaleups.
  • Strong consulting, coaching, facilitation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proven ability to partner with senior leaders and manage performance management processes.

  • Experience with scaling organizations and organizational development.
  • Data-driven approach to HR strategy.
