What you will do

• Lead and mentor the network security engineering and operations team.
• Own tower performance, escalations, and stakeholder communication.
• Coordinate with vendors and managed partners to ensure operational reliability.
• Maintain SOPs, runbooks, and operational workflows.
• Manage change, incident, problem, and request processes.
• Publish governance reports and drive process improvements.

Requirements

• Location: Must be onsite in Melbourne, Australia
• Experience: 15+ years in network security and leadership roles
• Deep expertise in firewall, NAC, segmentation, and Secure Service Edge.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and lateral movement risks.
• Experience with change and incident management platforms like ServiceNow or Jira.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and governance reporting skills.
