Salary: $170,400 - $255,700 per year

What you will do

• Scope, architect, and lead technical projects to improve features and solve new problems
• Debug production issues across services and multiple stack levels
• Design, build, and maintain user-facing experiences, services, APIs, and systems
• Make tradeoffs balancing business priorities, user experience, and technical sustainability
• Develop and execute short- and long-term roadmaps
• Mentor engineers to grow future leaders
• Collaborate with engineers and product managers across teams to integrate features
• Establish and uphold best practices in engineering, security, and design

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in or able to work onsite in Toronto, South San Francisco, Seattle, or New York
• 2-12+ years of professional software engineering experience (excluding internships/co-ops)
• Strong coding skills in any programming language
• Strong collaboration and cross-team communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously with an entrepreneurial mindset
• Interest in working as a generalist across technologies and stacks
