With an accent on owning the end-to-end model feedback process, cross-team coordination, and managing vendor relationships for human evaluation. Location: Redmond, United States. Employees are expected to work from a designated Microsoft office at least four days a week if they live within 50 miles (U.S.) or 25 miles (non-U.S., country-specific) of that location.

Salary: USD $119,800 – $304,200 per year.

What you will do

• Design and manage processes for collecting, triaging, and analyzing feedback from production usage, building dashboards and reporting to drive data-informed improvements.
• Partner with Research, Engineering, Data, and Product teams to align goals and enhance model performance.
• Oversee external vendors for data labeling and human evaluation programs.
• Build and run systems to assess and enhance model responses, including annotation platforms and evaluation pipelines.
• Manage project planning, execution, and delivery by developing consistent processes.
• Partner with leadership to design scalable processes and frameworks across Copilot, maintaining a deep understanding of AI/ML advancements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree AND 4+ years of experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
• 2+ years of experience leading AI-focused products or programs with direct involvement in model evaluation strategies, optimization, or data collection pipelines.
• 2+ years of experience reading and/or writing code.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s Degree AND 8+ years of experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
• Prior exposure to Large Language Models (LLMs), model evaluation, or human-in-the-loop systems.
• Experience working in a startup-like environment.
